Modem Operandi Web Design

about me

Modem Operandi is the name I use for the web design project which compliments my work in accessible graphic design.

I create standards compliant HTML and CSS based websites following the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

For accessible graphic design including sign design to JMU and British Standards visit Accessibility by Design.

accessibility and compatibility

As well as being more accessible, a standards compliant website will be easier to read and navigate and provide better indexable content for search engines.

It will display correctly on commonly used browsers as well as being compatible with smart-phones, PDAs and AvantGo channels without needing text only pages.
